My name is Avi Sawhney and I go to L.I.S.G or Long Island School for the Gifted. I am in sixth grade and this will be my seventh year in the school.
L.I.S.G is a school for gifted kids that goes from Kindergarden to 8th grade. The school will move kids up 1-3 grades in math and will put kids in a execerated curriculem for other classes like science, history, and English Language Arts. Head of the School is Dr. Patricia Geyer who has be with the school since 2016. The founder of the school is Mrs. Trooper. The school has kids do 2 "specials" every day which are other classes that students might enjoy. These classes include P.E, computer, art, and music.
